Since around 2000, the Enneagram community in Europe has gathered around the teaching of Helen Palmer and David Daniels, creating something rare: a living community, deep friendships, and a shared commitment to carrying the work forward.
With the first Summer School Retreat in 2025, we rekindled that spirit.
This year's theme is 'Leading from the inside out'. Not just leadership as a role or a title. But the kind that begins inside, and that the Enneagram illuminates like nothing else.

FAQ's
Do I need to be a certified Enneagram teacher to join?
No. This retreat welcomes everyone genuinely walking a path of growth with the Enneagram, whether you have been teaching for twenty years or simply living it deeply. What matters is sincerity, not credentials.
I'm hesitating. Is this really worth it?
Participants consistently tell us this retreat offers more lasting impact than months of individual study. Three days in community, held by experienced teachers, doing real work together. That's rare. And that's exactly what this is.
Can I join the Summer School Retreat online?
This programme is offered as residential only. The intimate nature of this work requires the safety and containment of an in-person environment.
What language is the retreat in?
English, spoken slowly and clearly, open to non-native speakers (what most of us are).
How many participants will there be?
50 maximum. This ensures the depth and intimacy that makes this gathering what it is.
What kind of accommodation is included in the fee?
The all-inclusive fee is based on a shared room and shared bathroom, to keep participation costs as low as possible.
If you prefer more privacy, you can upgrade (for all three nights) to:
– Private room / shared bathroom (+ €75)
– Shared room / private bathroom (+ €75)
– Private room with ensuite bathroom (+ €150)
Room preferences can be indicated during registration, and we’ll confirm availability upon booking.
When do I arrive and when do I leave?
Thursday 9 July is arrival day. Registration opens at 17:00, followed by the opening circle in the evening. Sunday 12 July is departure day. We close with a shared lunch, after which you are free to travel home.
Can I arrive a day early or stay an extra night?
Yes, that’s possible. You’re welcome to arrive on Wednesday, 8 July or stay until Monday, 13 July 2026. The cost is €75 per night, including breakfast, including taxes.
You can request this when registering, and we’ll confirm availability with the venue.
How do I get to the venue?
You can fly into Amsterdam Schiphol, Rotterdam, or Eindhoven. Each has an easy train connection to 's-Hertogenbosch (Den Bosch) Central Station, about 1 to 2 hours, then around 30 minutes by bus or taxi to retreat centre De Beukenhof. If you are travelling by train from southern Europe, you can arrive via Roosendaal or Breda. Full travel guidance is provided after registration.
How about safety & privacy?
Absolute confidentiality. This is a contract we make with every participant.
All personal information shared during the programme is strictly confidential and handled according to professional ethical standards and applicable privacy legislation. No session content or participant data is recorded or shared without explicit consent. For safety and privacy, we do not offer hybrid online participation. Participants must not take photos, recordings, or post on social media. We do not create or store personal files. Any programme photos are used only with written consent.

What if I need to cancel?
We understand life happens. Here's our cancellation policy:
More than 30 days before the retreat (before 9 June 2026): Full refund. No questions asked.
14-30 days before the retreat (9 June-25 June 2026): 90% refund (10% administrative costs apply).
Less than 14 days before the retreat (after 25 June 2026): Your training fee minus 10% administrative costs can be transferred to any future Enneagram Europe programme. Accommodation costs cannot be refunded or transferred, as these have been committed to our venue partner.
Is there a payment plan available?
Yes. If you would like to spread the investment, payment plans are available upon application. Please contact us and we will find a solution that works for you.
Are special rates available?
This work should be accessible to those who are truly ready. Special rates are available for participants from lower-income countries. Please ask during your application.

We carry this living tradition forward through in-depth, multi-day residential trainings, grounded in presence, direct experience, and real inner work. At the same time, we continue to grow the Work itself, integrating contemporary insights, methods, and practices. That, too, is The Work.
